
What is the Spinal Flow® Technique?
The Spinal Flow® Technique is a gentle, hands-on healing approach that helps the body release stress stored in the spine so it can heal itself naturally.
Your body has an innate intelligence — an inborn ability to grow, repair, and restore balance. Just as your heart beats and your body digests food without conscious effort, your body already knows how to heal. Spinal Flow works by helping reconnect you to that natural healing ability.
How It Works
The spine and nervous system are the main pathways through which your body’s life force energy flows. Over time, physical, emotional, and chemical stress can become stored in the spine, creating blockages that disrupt this flow. These blockages may show up as pain, tension, illness, fatigue, or other symptoms.
During a Spinal Flow session, the practitioner uses light, non-invasive touch on specific areas on the sacrum and the cranium called Access Points. This gentle contact helps the nervous system shift from a stress state (fight-or-flight) into a relaxation and healing state (rest-and-digest), allowing stored stress to release naturally.
As the body releases these blockages, a healing “spinal wave” moves through the spine, helping restore connection and balance throughout the entire body — from the tailbone to the head.
What Makes Spinal Flow Unique
Spinal Flow does not involve massage, manipulation, or force. It works with the body, not on it. The body leads the healing process, guided by its own innate intelligence.
Practitioners use the 7 Gateways of the Spine as an assessment tool to understand where stress is being held and how it may relate to life experiences. With each session, the ripple effect of release deepens, supporting ongoing healing and wellbeing.

Spinal Flow is informed by the science of the nervous system, particularly how stress affects the body’s ability to regulate and heal itself. The nervous system controls communication between the brain and every cell in the body, and this communication travels through the spine.
Physical, emotional, and chemical stress can become stored along the spine, creating areas of tension that interfere with nervous system signalling. Over time, this can contribute to pain, imbalance, or dysfunction.
Spinal Flow practitioners use a structured system — including the 7 Gateways of the Spine and 33 access points — to identify where stress may be held. Using light, precise touch, the technique helps release spinal tension and supports the nervous system in moving out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-digest, where healing and repair can occur. For years, I’ve been fascinated by the intelligence of the human body — how it holds our stories, our stress, and our potential for healing. Through gentle touch, intuitive presence, and an understanding of the body’s energetic pathways, I help clients reconnect with their innate flow — the place where life force moves freely again.
My work is guided by the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s “broken” — it’s about remembering who you are beneath the layers of stress, trauma, and conditioning. When your body feels safe, your energy expands. When your spine is free, your soul can lead.
